He has extensive experience in cross-border transactions and has advised a number of leading businesses and conglomerates, including Saudi-based and foreign firms.   • Advised Dow Chemical Company on its US$ 20 billion joint venture with Saudi Aramco to form and operate Sadara Chemical Company, including project agreements, project financing and issuance of sukuk.

  • Advising a Saudi Arabian Company in connection with its incorporation and IPO.

  • Advising an Asian company in connection with the acquisition of a 40% stake in a Saudi Arabian company

  • Advising a Saudi bank in connection with a SAR 2 billion Murabaha financing agreement

  • Advising an American private equity firm in connection with the Saudi aspects of an acquisition of a multinational company

  • Advising Sadara Chemical Company in connection with its project financing

  • Advising a United Kingdom based company in connection with a share sale in their Saudi Joint Venture

  • Advising a US company in connection with the proposed purchase of shares in a Saudi Arabian industrial company; this included the preparation of a due diligence report

  • Advising a US listed manufacturer of medical devices in connection with the formation of a Saudi Arabian Joint Venture company

  • Advising a US listed company in connection with it US$10 billion Joint Venture with two Saudi listed companies

  • Advising an Australian company on the Saudi aspects of around a US$1.55 billion building materials Joint Venture with a Chicago-based Company.

  • Advising a European company in connection with a Trading Joint Venture with a Saudi Arabian company
